Don't think it's all that we'd like to present you. Our database fills up and changes without a stop, we put information as FaST as possible. At first we put everything for our completely supported bands, then we put information about our albums' collections without tracks, lyrics, lineup, etc., then we put information from our Speed'n'Power Melodic Metal List, then we put information about side-cross-guest projects of completely supported bands' members and then we'll put lineup, lyrics, tracks, etc. for Speed/Power Melodic Metal list bands (current condition) and then at last everything else.

Additional informationfrom Leiv Arnesen - a correction to Terry Papafylis brief band's biography(31.01.2008):
Band released mini LP in 1986: Attack From Above (side A: Attack from Above; on side B there was a different version of Metal Fix). This is not the case. The Metal Fix recording, also used in the making of the video of the same name, is not a different version. This song was only recorded once (result of an "all-nighter" at the La Majuere Studios in Montreal, PQ, Canada). Since I was the vocalist at the time, I speak with some validity.
EUDOXIS' SINGER RESPONDS TO RUMOURS OF BACKWARD SATANIC MESSAGE (22.09.2007):
I would like to convey to our fans worlwide through the FAST METAL PAGES WEBSITE that there were no intentional backward messages on the 1991 CD "Open Fire". As the lyricist of EUDOXIS, I can assure you that we never dealt with such subject matter. The song in question is "Progressive Mental Deterioration(Dementia)" and it deals with the painful reality of mental illness. There are more interesting and important topics to write about than Satanism. With this statement, I hope that the spiritually insecure persons who made these accusations can go on with their regular business and the Pope can sleep at night.
from Terry Papafylis (09.04.2005):
Band released first video in 1985: Metal Fix.
Band released mini LP in 1986: Attack From Above (side A: Attack from Above; on side B there was a different version of Metal Fix).
Band recruited new singer Sotiri Papafylis and new guitar player Mars B. Alexander in 1989 and wrote the songs for the 1991 full lenght release: OPEN FIRE (Stephane Rioux was replaced by drummer J.P.Perrault prior to the recording sessions).
For the 1991-1992 OPEN FIRE tour a second guitarist was added: Mario Gilles (he also appears in the REACH THE SUN video).
The Band cesed to exist in 1993. Singer Sotiri Papafylis went on to form T-BONE TERRY & THE RED HOT BLUES in 2002.
Eudoxis' OPEN FIRE is "One of the best and most sought after Canadian indie power/thrash metal cd" according to ebay. In March 2005, almost 15 years after its release, it has climbed to the #3 spot on the A-Z Heavy Metal Data Base Chart: "The best records of Canada" behind Saga-In Transit and Rush-Hemispheres. |
