Don't think it's all that we'd like to present you. Our database fills up and changes without a stop, we put information as FaST as possible. At first we put everything for our completely supported bands, then we put information about our albums' collections without tracks, lyrics, lineup, etc., then we put information from our Speed'n'Power Melodic Metal List, then we put information about side-cross-guest projects of completely supported bands' members and then we'll put lineup, lyrics, tracks, etc. for Speed/Power Melodic Metal list bands (current condition) and then at last everything else.

Additional informationfrom Guerric Angelo Marruzzi:
My name is Guerric Angelo Marruzzi and I was one of the original members... (I go by just Angelo Marruzzi now).
So, the original line-up was Jeff Boss on vocals, Dave West on drums, a few different bass players until we settled on Mark Krim, Marc Schuman (who later changed his name to Marc Ferrari when he moved to California to join KEEL), and myself...this was the first official STEEL ASSASSIN...we rehearsed in BROCKTON, Mass...
This was the line-up from approx. 80-82-early 83, when we decided to disband when we were having problems with our manager, and some differences between band members as well...the name was coined from our manager (same manager as the later line-up, Jim Blute) and the original logo came from one of our roadies who was an artist...
There is a distinct difference in the two line-ups, in style and sound...we were just a very solid classic metal band in the style of Judas Priest, The Scorpions, Accept, early Iron Maiden etc...and our singer, Jeff Boss, sounded a lot like Udo from Accept...
The later line-up had a singer with a much higher voice, and with different writers in the band, hence a different sound, so they are truly TWO DIFFERENT bands...though they were together longer than we were and had a bigger following...if I'm not mistaken I think they had some changes in their line-up as well...but to this day I don't think a lot of people know that it was two different bands!
I'd also like to add that before the second line-up started, Kevin Curran, Donny E. from the second line-up, and myself, along with another drummer, were jamming together and considering starting a band but it never materialized...would have been great though I think!
By the time the second line-up was in their prime, both Marc Schuman and myself had both relocated to Los Angeles (where I still live). |
