1. It's a Mystery

2. Why Are We Here?

It's a Mystery
In the middle of the jungle
There are ruins of temples build along ago
Stone by stone
They were made by the Mayas
A tribe that is not so well known
Each pictures on the wall
Recorded history
They were gazing at the sky
Seeing stars telling them the days
On the year
Monuments marked time
But altars meant death and fear
Worshipping gods now gone long time ago
The population grew new cities were found

What happened then?
Was it a strange decease that wired away almost everyone
These things died right the way almost everyone
Or it might have been starvation caused by drought and a scorching sun

It's a mystery
The way they disappeared
It's now history
We will newer know
Why Are We Here?
When the stars are gone forever and planets are turned into dust
It's good escape to lie in the haze
In the past I found the answer in the music and drinking and lust
Waiting for the end and counting the days

But I want to find an answer, so what if my terror dies
And I want to find an answer, I look in your eyes

Why we are here
Maybe you hold the answer

When the skies are dark and winter has hidden the city in snow
I remember summer's hot far away
And it seems the days are shorter and hours are passing to slow
It's a nice escape to roll in the hay
