First of all, did you familiarize yourself with the review
content, that's dedicated to selftitled Battle Bratt album? It's not bad
to take a look at common information about the band (review for Battle Bratt album
simply titled Battle Bratt), and then to read about this
exclusive stuff.
This album presents a compilation of the songs from 1984-1985
period, the demo versions, etc. I'd like to add to those words from
another review that I said describing Battle Bratt music, that there is
something from Fates Warning, Rainbow, Iron Maiden and even just a little
from AC/DC and Led Zeppelin on this album also, this recording at last
presents us a real ballad Remember Me and fast enough track Screaming in
the Night also.
I'd like to note also that this release likes me better than
selftitled album because of greater variety in the music, though a number
of the guitar solos and high quality of playing don't differ from
album'88. In any case it isn't necessary to perceive this album as some
makeweight to Battle Bratt works, it can be called with the full
responsibility as a complete full-length album with an absolutely another
stuff that's different from selftitled album, with the great songs,
performed on the high-skilled level, just professionally.
This music isn't perceived as an ancient music, become obsolete
its live long ago, even in 2006 - year of reissue of the selftitled album
and release of this The Anthology album. No, such music is still alive
and
young, it gives not less astonishing impressions from the listening to
it.
I'm waiting for the new Battle Bratt album!
