This World Speed/Power/Melodic Metal List was conceived and released by Serge
Dubakov in 1995. In autumn 1996 his last Speed/Power/Melodic Metal List was released, after
that time Serge didn't update it. As far as this list is very important
for many people, by the end of autumn 1998 we had asked his permission to
give us a possibility to continue this list. He allowed us to do it. Our updated
list had been already ready by the end of 1998. But we have got some reasons to
release it in March, 1999. You may find more detailed information inside the
list. This World List is being automatically generated.
05.04.2009: Removed from Speed&Power list the following good bands:
MP, LIONS BREED, TT QUICK, ICYCORE, HUNDRED YEARS, CYCLONE, MEKONG DELTA, DR. BUTCHER, DIRTY DEEDS, DEPRESSION, DELIRIOUS, DORIAN GRAY, GLENMORE.
26.12.2006: It's a new list of the bands which unfortunately removed from Speed&Power list:
MINDFEED, SABER TIGER, EASY RIDER, BATTLE BRATT, EMERALD STEEL, PAN RAM, SEVEN, AGGRESSION, LETHAL, TIERRA SANTA, HIGH POWER.
24.04.2006: Unfortunately we decided again to remove several bands which weren't Speed&Power-like, but which had been in the list.
They were:

08.02.2005: At last we finished the transformation of the old static version of this list to the dynamic version being automatically generated. Enjoy it.

10.02.2001: We decided to remove some bands which weren't Speed&Power-like (actually they were Thrash Metal-like, Progressive, or Heavy Metal-like, etc.), but which had been from the very beginning in the list.
They were:
ANESTHESIA, ANNIHILATOR, ARIA, ARTILLERY, AXXIS, DEATH ANGEL, FORTE, SHADOW GALLERY, SKYCLAD.
Some of the bands inside the list can be no Speed&Power; we can't listen to
all records and bands, it means we can have some inappropriate bands.
